Question Big Design Small Problems

Hello All,

Problem:

http://www.sdindiemusicfest.com

The original design is way bigger. Someone else started this page and now I'm finishing it to make it look better.

My workings thus far are here:

http://www.37marketing.com/SDIMF_NEW/index.html

I really try to avoid making my sites like this, but am kind of forced to work with this now.

Do any of you have advice as to how to just make this better at all?

I tried what this guy did:

http://www.csszengarden.com/?cssfile...202.css&page=0

Just to get the design to sit there and the content to scroll.

Am I just screwed with this crappy design and no wonderful css fixes?

Thanks so much for any help/advice

Brad

Re: Big Design Small Problems

I think he/she's probably used the position:fixed; thingy in css to get the image (frame) to stay put but the content to still scroll.

But I may have misunderstood you, what exactly are you trying to do? It looks ok to me apart from the quality of the images, but then it's not the finished product is it.

Pete.

Re: Big Design Small Problems

Brad your site is too wide. On 1024 x 768 I still had to scroll left and right.
I think that would be the first thing to tackle.
