IE6 bug - div box overflowing
Hi it has been a while since I have been on this site and I am glad to see it is still going and has been revamped and is easier to use. Looking good.
Please could someone help with my ie 6 bug. I have a container div which seems to be overflowing the required height. It is the #middlebox div which has a l/r border, it continues by at least 30px below the ul id="bottommenu" which it contains (which has a blue background). I have tried setting the height to auto, inherit, % and putting the overflow to hidden - and many other tweaks - all to no avail. I have tested it in Firefox, Safari, Opera, Netscape (Mac and PC - where relevant) and the site works fine. The #middlebox div doesn't have any bottom padding either - so I am a bit at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas? url: http://www.hastings.ac.uk/index.asp Ps It has to pass in both ie6 and 7. Many thanks for any help. |

Re: IE6 bug - div box overflowing
Well, what a good nights sleep and fresh eyes will do. Thankfully, I have just fixed it myself.
The problem was a margin-bottom of 40px on the bottom UL which was pushing the two containers down. Duh!!! Thanks anyway, |
