png transparency internet explorer

on my website: http://www.paularms.com i have the logo as a png-24 image using a relative position to overlap what's underneath it (the tabs and content).

if you are on internet explorer for windows (and only that browser that i've seen) it gives the image a white background. is there any way to combat this with my style sheet?

Generally, MSIE 5/6/WIN is the only major browser not to be able to display alpha transparency for PNG24. MSIE5/6/MAC has full inline PNG24 support and Mozilla/5.0 and Opera/7.0 onwards offer PNG transparency support. This can be remedied using AlphaImageLoader Filter. More information can be found in Catalyst's link to alistapart.com. You may want to check out a related thread. http://www.webforumz.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=598

If you have any other queries, feel free to email me gwx@supernetpower.com . I've also experienced the same problem but have fixed it thereafter.
