The sticky at the top of this forum has some useful things. I can't remember if these are in there or not, but take a look at these:

http://css.maxdesign.com.au/
http://w3schools.com/css/

Re: CSS - Learning

Are you after a book at all? I know a very good one which will take you through CSS at a good pace from basic to quite advanced.

Hi,

I used this book:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cascading-St...e=UTF8&s=books

Its well paced providing you know HTML/XHTML quite well.

Re: CSS - Learning

I never found that I needed a book, but the JavaScript Bible helped me out a lot. CSS is very simple once you learn the properties and their values (a program like skEdit really helps because it lists the properties), you can pretty much do anything. I don't know about books, but maybe they can get you in the right frame of mind to make a site as though you had never used tables before.

To me, the biggest step to learning how to make sites in CSS is fogetting that you don't need table-like rows and columns to create a design.
