Making a Presentation/Portfolio of Sample Sites

Hi All

Im not sure where to post this but i thought i would try here.

Im looking to create a slideshow/portfolio of work to take to clients (On a laptop/portable memory stick) who do not have access to the internet at present.

Does anyone have any ideas what software, hardware i should use, or how i could go about it?

Thanks

Sounds amateur but couldn't you just make a powerpoint presentation, or would you need interactivity?

Re: Making a Presentation/Portfolio of Sample Sites

Hi unitedcraig,

I was going to try that, but i cant think of a way to get the whole site onto a page? or at least a large enough tiled image onto the page for clients to see.

Thanks

Does your site include php?

If it doesn't you can just view the site from a folder on you memory stick, as long as they have a browser installed there wouldn't be a problem.

http://portableapps.com/apps/development/xampp

There is also a portable Xampp, don;t know if you have used this but it allows you to preview .php files without the need to upload onto the web

With this and the firefox you could easily preview sites on the go, with all features enabled

What about flash? It's an extremely universal plugin that almost everyone has installed.

You could make a flash slideshow of your work (using a cheap flash maker if preferred), and then pop it on a disk!

P.S I've used the linked software above and found it very useful and customisable for quick projects
