ASP form to access db in fpdb folder

Created the form in Frontpage as ASP, and db in local fpdb folder. Made folder protected and set permission as I was getting error 404. On submit, all goes well, I even had confirm fields showing on page. Check db contents and nothing! Tried everything including new test forms from this forum! Tried FTP upload.Anyone any ideas PLEASE.

THis probably doesn't matter now but with such a cryptic message no one will be able to help you. Perhaps a sample of the code your using , so we can try to decipher what the problem is. As is, it could be anything.

Yes- you're right. Am new at this and the problem was badly described. As it is, it has been solved. I finally got a reply fromhe ISP who told me permissions were not set - although I had been through that stage a few times. Anyway, it's working. Thanks for the response - I will certainly take pains to describe better in the future should the occassion arise.
