Lets say you and a mate what to start up a site. You might be merry at the start but times do change.
- Always buy the dormain your self
means you have the law on your side - Own 51% of the site
this was you always have the casting vote. - Host your self and don't give them passwords
they could take it down. - Contracts!!
this gives you a leg to stand on

But, if the your partner demands the domain info, I don't think there is pretty much you can do because he too own the sites and is thereby entitled to have the information.
Make sure you are clear about where you have partnered, whether in content, coding, hosting, registering, etc. |
