Cross browser nuisance

Its good to have choices between web browsers. But whats sucks horribly is that every browser has its own way to rendering content, which is different from other browsers. For eg: I just scripted a code which works all together different on IE, FF and Opera. Writing the code is not a headache if you get the logic clearly but getting it to work smoothly with all browsers is a fairly prohibitive challenge.

Just as we have (X)HTML, CSS , RSS validation, isn't there any test which validates...

Web 2.0 or exaggerating

I think its more of a fad than a reality for many. Web 2.0 aims at giving the user a very friendly reception and stay without compromising/exaggerating on the ambience and other critical elements in a webpage.

But lately, I have found some web developers throwing up unacceptable pages on the name of 'Web 2.0'. They use flash banners where a simple static image could do. They use javascript to render page content where simple tables would do, but they won't use AJAX. Isn't this a blunder...

"Review my blog please" - Read this if you plan to start your blog

I have seen that on many forums where members ask for a review of their blog.

While there are some really good reasons to review a blog, there are much more reasons not to do it!

Many blogs which I visit from "Review my blog please" threads are shameless examples of pliagrism, copy-pasting, Make money online, etc.

That just annoys me. The niche of blogging which these offenders do not understand is that a blog is superb tool to promote your opinions...
