MS to Yahoo - "Accept or else"...

Microsoft have given Yahoo until April the 26th to accept its bid offer or it will go ahead and buy them out on the open market, at a significantly lower price.


Have MS gone mad? This is just pure bully boy tactics.

Seriously, what is it with Twitter?

I've always never really been one for Web2.0 applications - but in the last week curiousity got the better of me as I joined Flickr. I must upload more pictures and try and get a feed going with my blog. Anyway, today I was on another forum reading about Twitter. Now, this is something I have never, ever, ever understood. Posting little messages about what you are doing? *yawn*. But actually, I can't stop posting! There's something addictive and I cannot seem to stop. I find myself styling my Twitter...

Good news and bad news to myself

Good news:
Snow, finally fount my DVD remote.

Also:
Growing up as a kid in the 90's being used to button mashing consoles, I have finally gotten used to the physical Wii.


Bad news:
The Xbox got the red light of doom

Project Pygmy CMS is done!

The CMS I've been working on, Project Pygmy, is done. It's still in its Alpha phase and only has MINIMAL functionality. You can use a demo of it by going to http://pygmy.otherroaddesign.com/ and using the username and password "admin"

Some of the features of Project Pygmy
  • Edit pages using FCKeditor, a easy to use WYSIWYG editor.
  • Have your website generated into static HTML pages
  • Automatic updates (which at the moment isn't working.... Oops )

Internet usage tracking - illegal or necessary?

At present such tracking systems, although available, are still highly controversial, and companies that are using them are under increasing attack within the media for using such systems.
