Linking the pages

Could you guys tell me how all the pages are linked to one page, and how all my information should be stored, I'dd be guesing database.
But how.
My plan was to make a site where it would be possible to download all kinds of suriname songs. that would need alot lot of space.
So where should i get started.
The layout and graphics are coming around, but how to link each subject with each other

What you do is create a navigation bar that links all your pages together, for example

HTML: Select all

<ul>

<li><a href="index.html">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="songs.html">Songs</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>

</ul>

You can then style this using CSS to get the look that you want.

Yep thats what i meant, but there still are some subjects i can't understand,
for example. if i post a reply the system automaticly counts the amount af reply's .How to to that
