HTML Editors

Please list your favorite HTML Text Editors that you would recommend for web design.
Please list whether it can be used for

1) PC, Mac, Linux,

2) Cost if any

3) URL

NVU - NVU is a FREE complete Web Authoring System, like Dreamwever or Frontpage. This program will work on Windows, Linux, or Macintosh.

PSPad - PSPad is FREE advanced Text Editor. This text editor highlights your code, and will auto-format it for you. PSPad will work on any Windows based operating system, and or your flash drive!

Notepad - Notepad is a free program that comes installed on Windows based operating system. This program will only run on Windows, but is great for building Websites.

Notepad++ - Notepad++ is another great text editor. This text editor is better then the standard notepad. It will run on Windows based operating systems.

TextPad - TextPad is a free based text editor, that will highlight and format you code correctly. Also it comes with some nice features to save you time!

HTML-Kit - HTML-Kit is a FREE complete Web Authoring System, like Dreamwever or Frontpage. This program will work on Windows based systems.

Crimson Editor - Crimson Editor is a free professional text based editor for Windows based operating systems.

Mac:

skEdit is a $25 and is my favorite

BBEdit is a bit more spendy at $125, but it's a full featured app.

CSSEdit is $30

StyleMaster is $60
