how can i let users edit there own page, on my website?

hi, I'm new to web design, and I try to learn all i can of my own back, and after a lot of trial and error, I am making progress, But 1 thing has me stumped! I would like to let users edit there own page on my site, Like on my space, and Free web hosts.
Now I find i can find almost anything on the net, but with this one I have no idea were to start, I have a feeling that some were out there is what I need, but I don't know what or were to look!
If anyone could help me help myself out there i would be so great full,

Not quite what im after, i want a user to be able modifiy There Own webpage, eg." .mydomain.net/user1 " but at the same time i dont want them to be able to change anything other then there Page, im stuck,
unless i missing somthing on the CMS side of things but to me its not what im looking for,
any ideas anyone??

Try Joomla! with UHP2 (search for it in the extensions-directory on the Joomla site)

works pretty good.
