Made changes to web page - now friend can't use Adobe Contribute?

I made minimal changes - took out some things, resaved, republished directly thru cpanel on my friends website. She usually uses adobe contribute to change just her text.... well, now since I made the changes, she says she can no longer log in using her adobe contribute - She says her passcode doesn't work - Anyways, I'm lost because I didn't change permissions, nor have I ever used adobe contribute in my life, so I dont understand how the two connect

I'm lost as to why she could get in before I made the changes, and now she can't.

I didn't create her webpage, all I did was change text in a text box that she couldn't using her contribute.... I didn't alter any codes or delete any codes - does anyone out there know why she can't sign in using contribute now?

Any ideas for me at all?

Oh, PS, called Adobe, unless we buy the upgrade for another 80.00 - they wont even bother helping us figure this one out - that's why I came here, as I know someone must know this answer that has me stumped!

I often use Contribute and it's a royal pain. Has she tried re-connecting to the site? By that I mean in Contribute tell her to go to File>>My Connections then have her select the site (if there's more than one). After which she can go through and adjust the connection settings. Without having the login info and being able to see what errors she's getting that's about all the help I can give. Also, what's the URL for the site? Maybe I can take a quick look.

HELP ME?!?!?!

I just received an email message from her...... she said her "web designer" told her it sounds like a problem with contribute. NOW he is telling her that she also has no disc space left, and to go get more memory or she wont be able to run anything (I dont know how much she actually has) but he said he uses a free system called WORDPRESS..... and recommended she uses that, but said that for a HEFTY PRICEY FEE he can TRAIN her on how to use this WORDPRESS system.....

Is Wordpress good? Is it like NVU? AND.... do you think she really needs to pay a hefty pricey fee to learn how to use it?????

Any info you can provide would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

She has her sight through a place called bargainhost.com - which uses CPANEL......

I would say she needs nothing, and that they are trying to con her.

If she cant connect with the Cont, try changing the passwords and connecting again.
If that dont work, set up some FREE web hosting and try with that..if it STILL fails.

Never pay for programs when you dont have to.
