Linking to local media with Internet Explorer
Hi everyone. I'm stumped, this is something I was doing before my hard drive went kaput but I can't get it to work again.
I'm trying to play local media from a link in Internet Explorer. The link goes to a playlist file which in turn opens the media player. After reloading my programs on to a new hard drive the linking doesn't work from IE but it does in Firefox. This is probably more of a IE trouble shooting issue than an html one but maybe some of you know. Putting my code into a very simple form.. "
Blade
" This creates a link that Firefox can use to start the media in my media player but Internet Explorer says "Page can not be found". I need to get it working in IE because that's what my media catalog software uses. Thanks for your help. Rich |
