need to get guidence for my personal web site-reg

well i m to make my own personal web site.

but i need guidence abt the contents. pls be kind to guide me about what and what pages i have to make and what nd what links i have to make etc etc.
and in Photoshop, what page size i can select for designing for web?

if someone can show some nice looking personal sites, i wil get inspired by that,and get an overall idea.

Alright I'm here but I'm a tad confused. You "have" to make a website?! Is this for school or something?!

'Cause if it's not and you just want a website but don't know what to put in it then ... why have a website?!

Or is it the design you don't know what to do with it?

I always go to CSSMania when I need inspiration 'cause they have their designs separated into topics which makes it really easy to find relevant sites.
