Folder and file management
Are there some rules for the arrangement of folders used in webpage design? In the past I have always made one folder for each part of the main page. For example, i have one folder for the top banner, one for the bottom banner, one for the main page and one for each item on the menu. I have noticed that some of these folders are starting to get rather tall, i.e. have 4 or 5 levels of subfolders in this. Is this a problem? Does it slow down access? Are there any good rules out there?
I am reading through the section for newbies now - thanks for all of you who put this together! Thanks! |

Re: Folder and file management
I put all my graphics in one folder, images in one folder and html in another.
That's as organized as I can get! |
