Absolute positioning - Label , LinkButton won't do it

Hi All,
I am a beginner in web development. A help will be greatly appreciated.
I am making a website using visual studio 2008. i have created the project etc.
Now i go to Tools - Options - HTML Designer - CSS
And all the drop down boxes say CSS (classes)
Then i go to CSS Styling
there i have selected manual style application and have ticked "changed positioning to absolute for controls....."
i say OK to that.
Now when i drag drop Button from toolbox it moves to where i want to move. Same with text box.
But when i select Label or LinkButton it will not move. It will place itself in left hand top corner in a form1.
looking at the code it tells me that button and text box are taking CssClass
but label and linkbutton don't?

Why is that, when i have changed the option for all toolbox items??
Please help

Thanks in advance
