VWD FormView InsertItemTemplate CustomeEditor

Hi all

I am new to this so please bear with me.

I have a c# ASP.net 2.0 web page with a formview and in the form view I have 4 text boxes. I am trying to apply the following validation which is at lease one of the 4 text boxes needs to have a value in. What is the best way of doing this?

I have tried using the CustomeValidator but but I can not see/pick up the text box as it is berried inside the template so

FormView1.InsertItemTemplate.TextBox1 gives me an error.

How can you access the obects of a FormView.InsertItemTemplate from the ServerValidate event of a CustomValidator.

A simple explanation would be most appriciated.
