Which server technology do I select in dreamweaver?

My programmer just quit and I'm trying to download my site to my personal computer..I have very basic programming knowledge. He currently has pages that have aspx, aspx.vb, aspx.cs,htm, shtml and js extensions throughout the website.He developed this site over time and sharpened his programming skills.What server technology do I choose in dreamweaver? My chooses in dreamweaver are asp javascript,asp vbscript,asp.net c#,asp.net vb, cold fusion, jsp and php? I don't want to screw up the site, I just want in a place for my next programmer. If anyone out there can help let me know!

I dont think you need to specify a server technology unless you are using a local server.

I never specify a server technology.

I did a while back, all it allows you to do is get dreamweaver to store some variables for quick access.
Not that good.

If you have very basic programming knowledge, it might not be best to go tinkering with your site - especially if it was someone else that coded it.
