It's not impossible, but it's not easy either.

Actually smokie.... IIS is not without flaw....
I personally think that although the security of IIS is much better now than ever, apache will beat IIS hands down in the security area....

Although... Secure Apache running on un-secure windows is just in my opinion ridiculous!

If you are installing apache because you can't install IIS on your windows home edition, then see this link (sponsored by 'Search') http://www.webforumz.com/v2/topic.as...C_ID=1434#7981

Thanks to all those who responded!
My apache web server came with my Oracle 8I database. Windows xp home edition does not support IIS. I am trying to use ASP as my front-end and oracle as my backend. Since this is a home project security and speed is not an issue. I guess my next question is how do I configure the two?

Thanks

If using ASP is important to you, I'd highly recommend upgrading to XP Pro and using IIS - especially for doing something like connection to Oracle.
