ASP or PHP

I do all my programming in PHP, but what is best to know how to use for employment reasons?

Say I want to progress into web application role, will they most likely want me to know php or asp.

I imagine ASP is more commercially popular, but it depends on the company you want to work for. I would look on a job site and see what the most popular requirements are.

I think there are very strong requirements for both linux and windows development.

For linux:- PHP, perl and MySQL are highly sought after requirements.

For Windows:- ASP.NET, ASP, MSSQL, COM are pretty useful skills to have.
