Free Website?

I assume you mean it would support downloading roms and emulators. In that case, most websites would (some like geocities won't let you upload certain files like .exe or .zip files, but most hosts do).

But the fact is, most roms are illegal. Some of the really old ones where companies have gone out of business anc copyrights have expired are ok, but there are few around. Bear in mind that most hosts will now allow you to operate sites with illegal content and roms are illegal content 99% of the time.

I also think you'll be very lucky to find an ASP-supporting website for free. It costs to support it, so you have to pay for it, it's that simple. You can get some very cheap deals though... I've seen some sites offer PHP or ASP for about $15-20 a year.

Yeah, I get my hosting for $12 a year and it's ASP. But it only comes with 25 megs of webspace. It's plenty for me, but for Roms and Ems aint no way. By the way, if your an American they will arrest you for copyright infringement just to let you know... Ohh and check out all of the other Roms and Ems sites.. they are just about all out of biz becuase they got busted. People think if they put in fake names and such in the hosting form that people can't track them. WRONG! It gives them your IP addy too and that's where you get caught. So don't think you can find a Free site that hosts illegal content and just keep changing free accounts. It doesn't work that way.

what kind of game are you trying to make? Theirs GameMaker which is pretty good, and then there is RPGToolkit which is pretty nice as well. But these are for making like NES and SNES type games. (Other more powerful games can be done but it's not the best for them).

Like I've already said, you aren't going to have much luck hosting roms and emulators. If a game company finds you, you get shut down. If your host finds out, you get shut down. And both are likely if you start getting lots of traffic.

As for making games... slow down! One thing at a time! lol.
