Re: Webserver for visual studio
I'm assuming you will want to use ASP(.NET) since you are using Visual Studio.
To host on your own computer you will need windows server 2003 with IIS6 installed.
You can host your site with XP and IIS5 but I wouldn't recommend it and I don't know if it supports ASP.NET.

Re: Webserver for visual studio
So you will have to install windows server 2003.
Are you planning on hosting your sites there yourself or are you doing this just for testing ASP.NET?

Re: Webserver for visual studio
Okay, so which are you planning on doing?
Installing the Windows Server 2003 OS or just using XP?
I can help with Windows Server but not XP.
