Re: Xampp Problem
It is the FTP program for xampp. (It uploads files to the server. or downloads...whatever you need.)

Re: Xampp Problem
I am pretty tech savvy and could not for the life of me get XAMPP to work. I had the same problem with another similar program and even resorted to researching the forums and nothing worked.
Stormraven, this won't apply to you if you aren't using windows, but if you are, then look into (search for) "Uniform Server". Its so easy to use, I love it.

Re: Xampp Problem
go into the xamp folder, click htdocs, created a folder in there called 'test', then put .php files in there, and then view them from there.
Someone here mentioned Uniform Server, if i use that AND xampp will i have a conflict?

Re: Xampp Problem
if you can view .php files correctly then surely xampp is working correctly. When you view your pages in a browser is your address something like this.
http://localhost/xampp/test/something.php

Re: Xampp Problem
If you can view the php files, that means its working... Also you should be accessing via //localhost/xampp(for vista)/folder_name/filename.php....
