[SOLVED] MySQL!

Hi all!
Right, I was wondering a few things for help!

I am in work, and the computer used to run PHP and MYSQL! but because IIS wouldn't work we got rid of both, after we reinstalled iis, we tried 2 reinstall php and mysql!
after many days we finally got php on, was a right nightmare .

So i thought I Would use this other computer that runs vista though!
soo what I did was installed php on it which was alot simpler , but i was wondering! does Vista suppport Mysql? or not?
Because i have downloaded it, and followed all the steps, but keep getting errors and i don't no why!

So any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Cracka

Re: MySQL!

Yep, Vista definitely "supports" MySql. I'm running XAMPP with PHP and MySql without problems on Vista Business.....

Re: MySQL!

This is the most likely candidate:

http://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/M....zip/from/pick

I read that the 64bit version isn't supported on Vista yet, maybe you tried that originally?

Re: MySQL!

This should be the one that you are downloading if you are going to use XAMPP: http://www.apachefriends.org/downloa...-installer.exe.
