Question How much for adding adsense to website?

Does anyone know roughly how much a web designer would charge for adding adsense to my website http://www.letsrent2me.com? how many hours work it would be?

I thought about adding adsense lineage ads to the bottom of the homepage and at the side of all other pages under the menu bar on the left hand side.

Don't want anything too imposing it would have to blend in with the site.

or is this quite a simple job to do myself, i have no web design experience myself but could paste a code into the right place if someone would be kind enough to tell me where to put it!

You could probably do it yourself. Google would have all sorts of instructions on how to add the code correctly, you can also choose colours that match your site.

First you need to sign up to an adsense account and that takes a week. Do that first, choose your adverts, then see if you need to ask a web designer to help you put it on the site.

Question Re: How much for adding adsense to website?

Thks dangergeek I will do that. The main problem that i have is that i don't know where to paste the code. The website was designed for me and i know that it has css but i don't know which file i should paste it into; is there one css template which i could paste the code and it would change it on all of the pages? or does the code have to be added to all of my pages separately?and the other thing that i am worried about is aligning the text as i don't know anything about web design.

Google has quite good instructions. If you can hold off a week, adding an AdSense banner will be one of the finishing touches to a tutorial I'm writing.

I have found a good web designer who has said he will add the code for £25 which is only an hour's work....so my problem has now been solved thks...google are also adding a new function where you can manage your ads on your site directly from google's server (once code is pasted into website) so you can change colours etc...
