Invalid adsense code + HTML validator for Firefox

Adsense code is invalid. No problem -- it's isolated in an iframe, so it won't affect any other part of the page.

The trouble is that it affects my workflow. I use HTML validator for Firefox, which gives me an immediate visual warning when I make a coding error (green tick ---> red cross). I find this instant feedback very useful.

But when I add adsense code, I get the red cross all the time. So I lose this feedback mechanism.

Has anyone found a way around this? Can I suppress the error in HTML validator somehow? How about an "ignore the contents of iframes" option?

Could you remove the code while testing?

Yes, but that slows me down.

At the moment, my best solution is to place all the adsense code fragments (PHP files) on the server, and use dummy boxes on my local files (for when I'm testing).

But if anyone has a better idea, I'd love to hear it.

I use htmlentities() on the adbite URLs, that validates your site

Eh?

I assume you're talking about applying a PHP function to the Adbrite code. So that wouldn't work for Adsense, then.
