Re: Adverts

Do you even have an adsense account?

If so, enter your adsense account and go to AdSense Setup.

Then choose AdSense For Content.

On the next page, check out the drop down menu. Select Image ads only, and thats it.

Re: Adverts

Hi,
If you just punch in Adsense in Google search then follow the links which will take you to registration.
Re clicking on the ads repeatedly from the same IP. It's my belief you will be paid for each click - but in saying that Google are not stupid, they would soon catch on if the same 1/2 dozen sites kept clicking on your ads. I wanted to check out a few when I first put them on, used my friends computer and yes I got paid twice, but that was a one off. I really wouldn't recommend it.

Re: Adverts

The thing to remember about finding different ways to get the ads clicked a lot is that it's not Google who it costs money to, it's the advertisers. People don't always think about that, they think they're pulling a fast one on Google and that Google are huge so they can afford it, but you could be one of those advertisers some time, how would you feel if you had a really big advertising bill to pay because people had been repeatedly clicking on your ads? Sorry to sound judgmental, but just needed to say it!

Re: Adverts

Click-fraud is probably the biggest job AdSense has and any attempts to 'fool' google will probably fail miserably. You will simply be banned and never make any money. And that's without taking into account the fact that you would be cheating an 'honest' advertiser out of money.

Try placing the ads well, in visible places, making sure that they are attractive and relevant to your users. Don't trick people into clicking them, make them want to. You'll get more success this way in the long run.

Pete.

Alex, if you're clicking on an ad for any other reason than you are interested in that service or product, then yes it is cheating the advertiser. The advertiser is advertising to ultimately generate revenue for their own business, not as a means for you to show your approval of a good site.
