Targeting is the key. By focusing your content to a single targeted market you will make money with adsence! I developed my site for a targeted market under "Self reliance", "Survivalist", "Solar" ect... I am getting around 80% - 85% targeted ads for each page! and I have many pages. Go to my site listed in the sig and click around. You will find that most of my ads are right on target to the content. The ones that are not are the ones I will tweak at a later time by posting more targeted content on the page that comes up. Does this work? Well lets see... my site is only two weeks old, I'm not even indexed on google yet... my users are coming from forums and Usenet...I have very lite traffic...but I am getting clicks..I am making money! I only have one adsence ad per page right at the top. If you notice the color design of the site the adsence ad carries the most "weight" outside of the main page. Your eye wants to focus on that spot(the adsence ad).

The other most important thing is a fast loading site with as few graphics as possible. Less is more! With faster sites users will click more, thus your ads will display and change its content more often. The ad to the right of the side bar is a google ad clone served up by phpAdsNew. It has a lighter "weight" than the main adsence ad. This google clone I use for my affiliates. At a later time when my page rank moves up and I am getting a good hit rate I will sell ads on the site. When this site is doing well I will make another site with using another targeted market and using the same method.

I checked out your site to see how you have your adsense set up,if i may suggest you try to blend in your adsense banner with your content,you can simply change the outline of the banner to the same color as your site,in your case it would be white,the outline makes it obvious that it is a ad so you want to make it the same color as your background so it looks less like a ad,
