multiple browser versions

Is it possible to have several versions of each browser active at one time, for testing purposes? At the moment I have IE6 on my desktop and IE7 on the laptop. Can I run them both side by side and, if so, how?

Re: multiple browser versions

Multiple IE is great, but I wouldn't worry about going any earlier than 6 really. You could use the latest version of 5 if you wanted to ensure that people stuck in the 90's have access, but I really don't consider that a must.

Re: multiple browser versions

We had this question a few days ago, I'll try and find it now.
I have a list on my blog also.
IE6 and IE7 can run on the same machine without any hacks I'm certain.

Here it is. [SOLVED] Browser versions to test pages in

I read some article few month ago. They said, when you install FF and IE at the same time in your PC, your PC is not safe! "loophole things"
Running multiple version of FF, check it out here, and why do you need to do that???

Re: multiple browser versions

Its mainly IE6 and IE7 that I want to run side by side as that's what causes me most grief!
Multiple IE looks good, but IT dept. at work don't allow downloads!!

Will give it a go at home though.
Cheers
