Information Extraction

Bank of America has a feature that will extract my account info in real time from various accounts to one central page. That page will then give me an idea of where I stand financially. If I wanted to add a feature similar to this (information not quite as sensitive) does anyone have ideas as to what I should consider? Or, for that matter, how to begin in this process?

My skills are limited and I understand legal considerations and privacy issues but it is just an idea I've thought about to enhance my site. Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: Information Extraction

Well i figure it pulls the data from a server/database and there are strict laws on it.

You could create the same sort of thing using MySQL databases and pulling the data from them with PHP.

Altho im not certain.

Good luck.

Re: Information Extraction

If you have let say 5 database.. you could create a 5 recordset to handle the database.
And later display them in one single page!

Is that what you mean?
