Help with web design

Hi everyone.

Not sure whether I have chosen the correct section of the forum to post this message, but hope someone reading this can help.

I am in the process of designing a new website and would like to incorporate a chart or table on the home page which clearly shows the appointment slots that I have available. The table or chart must be easy and quick to update.

Take a look at these sites. Scroll down their pages a bit and you'll see the sort of thing I mean. A table with different coloured blocks representing appointments vacant/taken.

I did sneak a look at the source code for these, which just looks like an html table. But how would this table be easily updated without having to mess around in that mass of source code each time?

Does anyone know whether there are any javascripts or software programs readily available that will achieve something like this, and where I should look?
