Flash-Based Shoe Designer
How much would you charge for a flash program that does the following:
There is a picture of a blank white shoe at the right with different sectors. To the left, there are drop down menus each with a line to a certain sector of the shoe. These drop down menus allow you to choose a color for the corresponding sector. Basically, it is a shoe customizer. You can pick the colors for your shoe, and then it generates a code based on what colors you pick. Then you enter the code during shopping cart checkout. This will definately take me a long time to do, but I know that I can do it if I stick to it. What do you all think, and how much would you charge? |

Re: Flash-Based Shoe Designer
I think it would be a great project for you to learn flash on. This project...if hired out would probably run you about $250 - $500 depends on the animation and amount of ActionScript that needs to be used.

Re: Flash-Based Shoe Designer
this brings up a nice point, what is the average people charge for a flash website, say an about page, a gallery, contact page, and a links page? I charged $300 NZD for this, what do you lot charge?

Re: Flash-Based Shoe Designer
It all depends on how much animation and complicated ActionScript that website contains. Normally I won't do a flash website if I don't make at least $1000 USD on that website.

How would i make it so that when the color is dropped, it reverts back to its original position? Last edited by tox0tes; Jan 16th, 2007 at 03:16. |

Re: Flash-Based Shoe Designer
Ok guys, my next problem is cleanly splitting the shoe into sectors. I have a large picture of the shoe right here: http://www.danedesigns.com/shoe.jpg
Does anyone have any ideas on how to separate the shoe into sectors right along the seams? I have Fireworks 8 and Photoshop CS2. |
