A couple of bugs
I'm helping Jacob with http://lcmhp.com/ and I've run into a few problems. First of all, in Opera, can someone tell me why the menus with the dropdowns flicker and move when you first move your mouse over them? I don't get it...
Does anyone know of a better way to create a centered horizontal menu that doesn't have a fixed width? It needs to have the capability to have <a> tags with a fixed height (meaning I can't use an inline list). |

Re: A couple of bugs
Hm, that's odd in a good way. It must just be on OS X. It's probably passable then if I can't find a fix for it as I doubt the number of Opera users on OS X is even remotely significant. It's not really broken, it just acts odd.

Re: A couple of bugs
Just one image. I'm working on another method to do this that will handle text resizes and smaller browser widths better right now. I'm still interested as to what's causing the problem, though.
When I said flicker, that was really the wrong word to use because it's not like the IE flicker bug. The tabs actually move to the left and right in rapid succession before settling. It's like someone's holding a jackhammer to them. |

Re: A couple of bugs
Thanks for that link. I have a hard time finding a good example on the web when trying to explain that to someone.
