Ok, so I am building a website for a client and it will not validate as XHTML strict because the target attribute is not supported. So I normally do a JavaScript work around...but thought I would ask what the proper way is?

Re: XHTML Target
My understanding is that it was removed from the spec because it was originally aimed at frames and pop-up windows, both of which have fallen into disrepute.
That being the case, is there a better way that you can convince your client to accept or do you use JavaScript? |

Re: XHTML Target
Ok Ryan what do you suggest I do? I need it to validate strict, so you can't use the target attribute. What do you think?
