Red face My website logo is bad

Hi all,
I am not happy with the logo I have on my site www.onebz.com
I am not a graphics designer and need help.
If someone can design a logo for me I would be happy to put a link to their website at the bottom of every page on my site!
Does anyone have a good design?

DennisK

Logo's ok... background sucks in my opinion. ..... try domething simple like changing the text colour and getting rid of the stars

I'm no designer, but I believe what you need is something pretty clean that says exactly what you do.

Nothing too flashy.... you dont want to draw people's attention anyway from what your site really is.

I did the attached really quickly and should fit your need.

It's certainly a lot more fitting than your current logo.

Personally, I think the logo is the least of your problems. If I landed on this page, my immediate reaction would be amateur and I would leave.

Suggest you post in the critique section to get peoples feedback.

Well, I didnt really want to say anything..... but I also hate sites who core focus is advertising display (free or not)

Re: My website logo is bad

hmm, i dunno about you guys, but when i look at that logo it reminds me of all the dumb kids at school who couldn't design their own titles so went on www.flamingtext.com and spent 45 minutes of the hour-long lessons marvelling at all the different fonts.

Sorry to seem so critical, it's hard to say stuff like this in forum posts without sounding rude lol, maybe if you make the background the same as your site's background, so it looks more fresh, and make the text all one colour? one of my favourite colours to use with white is #9AEA00 or #6BBBFF, maybe have a look at those, they show the kinds of modern-looking colours you can use.

Now i've just looked back at your site, i like the menus, and maybe it would work if you used the same colour for your logo as you did with the menu? It's a nice soft orange colour, similar to the tone of he colours i listed above.

My final bit of advice is to NOT use Times New Roman, use Arial or Geneva, etc, if you have to - just not TNR on a site like this. For some reason TNR on a website usually turns me away instantly lol, it reminds me or those annoying pop-ups which are poorly made, telling me i've won a free laptop or something - and i'm sure there are others out there who have that reaction too.

Hope this helps!
