Re: Dreamweaver Help!

Why not ask "The guy"? You need to upload your site via ftp, generally.

Re: Dreamweaver Help!

Ditto,
Your ISP may have a FTP on the control panel (mine does). I personally prefer FileZilla, but I am sure there are many others and you should find on you like and that's easy to use.

Sannbe,

Re: Dreamweaver Help!

In dreamweaver you will have to go to Site/ New Site
In local info give the site a name and locate the folder that you stored all the graphics and info in.
In the remote folder you will have to select access: ftp
fill in the ftp host
fill in the login which some hosts call username
fill in the password

The last three pieces of info will have to come from the webhost that has been chosen to host the site.
Contact them or your guy for that info.

Hope this helps!

Re: Dreamweaver Help!

I don't have any trouble with Dreamweaver's FTP!
I've got CuteFTP also and I don't see much difference between the two.

Re: Dreamweaver Help!

I guess you have to like dreamwever...lol, but yeah it makes a difference if you are doing a massive upload or a massive backup. Dreamwever is the best program to help you code websites with...but it should be used as an aid not just by it's self.
