Full name in profile mandatory??
I noticed this was implemented today. You won't get my full name in there. I'm not sure who has access to see it, but I don't like making those sorts of details freely available. I mean, most of my details someone can get from whois by looking up one of my domains anyway, but making it this easy is not something I like...
So I'm just Tim....

Well, my full name is my username, so I don't have a problem with it. Perhaps the field just be labeled "Name."

Yeah...that was me, I kinda wanted things to be on a more friendly basis. It is really not a big deal to me either...as my full name is also my username. I had no ideal people were going to flip over it...lol, I have no problem with you just putting in Tim...or Ryan...or Jacob, don't really care. I will relabel the field to name...happy?

Well, my nick name is not really my Real Name... but I don't really mind others knows my real name...

Hi tim..... this is not mandatory.....
I think it was however initially set up as so, but now fixed. I would never endorse mandatory fields containing personal information other than those that are harmless, or critical for the use of this site (such as email address - hidden from public, but required non-the-less)

The deal is, that people's full names are identifiable information....
Some people LIKE to remain anonymous and we should not insist they identify themselves..... it is indeed part of our privacy policy should i ever get it up there.
