Instead of trying to anaylyse the wuite complicated site, I would start reading through some tutorials and then try making a very simple template of your own using div's, xhtml and css. Then I woudl start learning how to do things like what is on that webpage.

Oh and you should realy be posting in the html or cs forum. The graphics forum is for graphic questions in photoshop or other image editing software
