Smile Alternative Directories To DMOZ

What are other good web directories other than DMOZ - which is not accepting "suggest URL" due to technical problems.

Thanks loads

Re: Alternative Directories To DMOZ

None are as good. I submitted my site to dmoz in it's early stages and it got denied I wish I could suggest it again, but from what it says, it won't do any good.

Re: Alternative Directories To DMOZ

It is an excellent directory but it has draw backs like you should be in one category only. A bit annoying if you do more than one thing!

Being listed in Dmoz is *really* good for SEO.

Re: Alternative Directories To DMOZ

I guess I could've been clearer. The point is, search engines use Dmoz as a reference point for how high a site ranks. There is no other directory site with such a power.

Re: Alternative Directories To DMOZ

Well it is all in the way you build your website as to how good your listings are in google. But they do use Dmoz as a reference...but again money, site quality, and keywords...that's it!!
