Unhappy Looks good in FireFox, horrible in IE

Hello all,
I have a question which probably has been asnwered here. I've been doing web-design for about 5 years. My recent project is a tourist site. I'm brand new to CSS and have been using FireFox to show the site to clients. But just recently I saw my site in a computer cafe while using Internet Explorer. For some reason everything is off centered, even the tables, background images, and my navigation menu is way off. But it looks all good in FireFox and also looks good in Opera. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

my other projects if anyone cares to look at them:

In your CSS, try adding text-align: center in the body:

body {text-align: center}

You can turn the text back to left aligned using text-align: left for your other styles like so:

p, h1, h2, h3 {text-align: left}

Might not be the problem, but its a start.

There's a lot of shifting going on in Safari as well. You'd be better of not using tables at all, however. For that application, using <ul>, unordered lists, would be best.

Does that table need to be more narrow? The entire design is 780px.... just wondering if 761 was accurate?
