Forms

Hi all,

Am developing a form that has 3 options to select from. When you make the first selection, it should determine the list you get to select from for the second option and the same applies to the third option. The options do not have a huge list to select from so i do not want to build a database. Can anybody help? Thanks

Re: Forms

This should probably be in a different forum, as the new member introductions area has nothing to do with making a list or any programming language. This thread is being moved to the HTML forum, hopefully they will be able to better assist you there.

Sorry to do this to ya.. but i think this'd be better off in the php or javascript forum, depending on how you want to go about it...

This is something iv been trying to figure out myself for a little while using Php... so i too would appreciate any advice anyone can give.

I think it will be some kind of IF ELSE statement .... but i cant get my head round the exact syntax at the moment.

Re: Forms

Thanks for trying, am thinking of trying javascript; using onchange() events handler but still looking at the code. If i get to do i will send you the solution. Thanks anyway.

Re: Forms

I have found out a way of doing it, am not sure whether you are aware of a new way of scripting using AJAX. But that is what am using for my form, once i have finished it i will send you the code if you are interested.
