I think webforumz should have a simple chat room that allows the members, online to chat with each other in a chat room. For times like now...when I am board and their are no posts to answer. I would recommend a chat room like this one here...http://www.tufat.com/s_flash_chat_chatroom.htm

I just think it would be a cool feature to be able to talk with all the members in the chat room. Keep the questions to the forum, but all the moderators or the members can talk about stuff. Maybe even have a moderator room, where you have to be a moderator in order to get into that room. Just a thought, you probably don't want to turn webforumz into one big chat room...although it would be cool, and sometimes you just need a to talk to someone live. I normally give them my MSN when that happens but instead I could meet them in the chat room. Would be cool...what do you think??

They have one. I forgot the link to it but it overlays the chat room on the site.

Maybe it will work when I get home. Here at work, I have to open IE in order to use the chat room. It drives me nuts no tabs...ahhhhh

Works fine for me in Safari. I think there should be a link to it on the site, though. It's wierd... I've never heard of it either.

Me neither, and because their is no link to it, no one every signs on to it. Plus the chat room is just ugly, we at webforumz should be able to improve and make it COOL!!

No, I said that wrong, the chat room looks great and everything...I was just meaning that webforumz should be able to host their own chat room on webforumz server!!

Yeah, it does seem wierd that an active forum needs to use another server for a chatroom.

Lets face it..... the forums are the place for helping people.

A chat room negates the need to use a forum.... which is the exact reason why we have never used a chat here.

That chat link you gave is nothing of my doing, or indeed any other admin / moderator to my knowledge.

Still, if you wish to use it, feel free.... but for the good of the site, I dont think it will get linked to in main navigation.

Chat is good, I'm for it, posting a thread sometimes, for a humble new member, just to say hello or asking a simple small question (read: dumb question) can seems a bit big... But this gabbly doesn't let me log in- is the user name/password different from the Webforumz's?
