Web Page To Fit Screen Width

Dear All
I have designed a web page for 800x600
In case the same site is viewed in 1024 resolution, I want to dispay to its full length showing additional column so that the web site will be displayed to its full length
How can I do it

I assume you are talking about being flexible on the width, not the height, as the page will naturally fill whatever hright is available?

To be flexible on the width, you will have to design the site from the outset to work like this and specify the width of your layout divs in percentages.

Not all site designs lend themselves to a flexible design so you need to keep that in mind.

If the design is not suitable for flexible width, then just centre the page horizontally on the screen for best effect. Remeber you have control of the colour and patterning, if any, of that spare area around the page.

I suggest you download the Templates tutorial from the sticky in the css forum.

Unzip the files and work through the notes. This will give you a good basis on which to build.
