Re: Transparent gifs with photoshop XI

That happens in Paint Shop Pro Photo XI, I don't know if it is a flaw but as of yet I haven't found away round it. If you have Adobe Photoshop CS2, it works in there as I use it all the time if I need transparent backgrounds. If I find anything out about it, I will post it here. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

Re: Transparent gifs with photoshop XI

As there is no such program as Photoshop XI, I'm assuming like the previous respondant that you mean Paint Shop Pro XI.

The transparent gif image export works just fine. You are obviously doing something wrong - as usual.

Having created your image, go to File > Export > GIF Optimizer...

With the Transparency tab selected, select how you want your transparency done and save your image.

Job done!

No problem, but I still support what Geoff meant to say. Do something about it. Google is certainly your best friend. Accordingly, if you'd put effort into learning XHTML and CSS, you'd be here helping people, not just asking for it. Give a 100% to learning web design and you'll be a professional in a month.

So trust me I know.

Re: Transparent gifs with photoshop XI

I personally think Bruno is RIGHT, it is important to learn how to do tables and HTML, and starting with the basics is the way you become a professional. When Bruno is ready, I am sure he will move on, and start doing XHTML/CSS, but until then he is asking for assistance, not a speech on CSS...so help with what he wants you to help with.

I have a dream that we can all be a peaceful forum where everyone is equal and love's flash...I mean website design...lol
