Please do start! This is an Admin and Mod only forum so you aren't going to get any normal members in here making suggestions...

I know this section is for admins and moderators. That is why I posted it here. I am trying to spark a conversation amongst ourselves about who is doing what? What still needs to be done? What other features would be nice to have? Etc...
I have already started with my first post. |

Hi Guys...
There is still a lot to do.. Myself and Karl are tied up with Flash Desktop Tool. I will be working at trying to get PM alerts going thru it... which is a lot of research thru the code for whats what. I really need someone to pull apart the way in which the forum deals with links... I want all outbound links to go via a redirect, so the forum would have to modify any link someone posts to go via redirect.asp?url=www.whatever.com (If you wanna know why, then just ask) Can someone work on this? The base code for testing can be downloaded here:- http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/s..._mirror=heanet (NOTE: this is not the source for webforumz.com.... it is the source for the snitz forums software which webforumz.com runs on) Please see the readme file for installation instructions. The file that needs edited is called inc_func_common.asp and believe me... it will be a BIG challenge to someone to get this working for all links.

Hi...
Well, yeah as long as it's done, then that is ok. I always saw this as an Urgent issue, so at least now it's done (NEARLY). Thanks to Catalyst for his hard work, and also to d3mon(although he aint a moderator and can't read this) for trying. Also thanks to Smokie for trying this a while back.

perfect three column layout
After about an hour of tweaking, I finally finished what I think is the best three column layout... All columns are the same height, with the left and right columns, of course, being a static width. Everything else is purely liquid.
There's only one kink. If you want to add the footer, there must be enough content to make it scroll, but I leave the footer out on default. It uses no positioning. It looks exactly the same in opera, mozilla, and MSIE... Three Column Layout Hopefully this can help some of you looking for one of these that actually works... hehe |

Crush the page width and watch it fall apart...

that's what it's supposed to do...
If you used a table, it wouldn't act like that. Thusly, on a small window size, it would give you a horizontal scrollbar. I'd rather scroll vertically, then horizontally. This is the appropriate and desired action. |

I'm sure this is not the desired action:
![]() (on all browsers except IE) |

That effect is existant in literally every three column layout made with CSS. Due to CSS's lack of support, and there isn't much you can do about it. I believe this is as perfect as your going to get.

I'd like to see a source ordered 3-col CSS layout, if anyone want's to make one!
Source ordered meaning the content is first in source, so if you view the page without CSS, the content is first, then the links, header footer etc... |

I would suggest looking at this:-
http://www.projectseven.com/whims/cs...oxnoscript.htm This implements much better!! and because it is CSS-P trebz, I believe you could order the div's anyway you like.
