I have done alot of work to my site in the past year. I just switched domain names to this one about 6 months ago, my pr has not caught up yet. I would appreciate any help. I am mostly conserned with my store, the forum on my site seems to be pretty good. Not sure if i have my H tags right. etc. Anything else you can suggest. Re: ohol-injection.com
Hey Rocket!
Nice site! I'm looking at it in FF and you have a spacing issue with the word "Search" and the box beside it. I cannot see the h in search. The box overlaps it. I do think you have your head tags in the right spot. However I would like to suggest that you use more of the keywords in the H2 tag in the H1 tag. Since that is what SE look at very strongly, you will want to have as many keywords in the H1 tag as possible without obvious keyword stuffing. The store and how it functions seems to work well for me. If I were shopping I feel as if I would find what I want rather easily. The one thing I do not understand is the white Click Here button on the bottom left nav. What exactly is it doing? I clicked it and it took me to what I think was a different product. So what is it's purpose. Define it as "Click Here to see Related Items"?????? Or something to that effect. I clicked the mystery button and I'm not sure where it took me. Store Categories is a great title but I think you could improve on it. It took me a few minutes to "find" the store. I expected it to be in the top nav and it wasn't. I think that is a mistake. We never want to make our shoppers hunt. I would suggest a button on the top nav that says, "SHOP" or "STORE" or Shop for Products. Last think I noticed is the spacing between the Home button and the Message Board button is tighter than the rest. You might want to check the spacing there. I might as well save everyone else the line... You should look into CSS design rather than tables and look into XHTML rather than HTML. Both are more efficient and less bloated amoung many other reasons. I am in the process of learning CSS and it is not hard... just different. But it is fun! Nice looking site! Colors are well suited to the topic! You should be very successful! |
