Re: 17lemons.co.uk/simply/index.htm
LOVE the simplicity of the site! Colors and layout are excellent in my opinion.
You should work in XHTML so it can validate as well as attaching your css to an external style sheet! LOVE IT! |

Re: 17lemons.co.uk/simply/index.htm
Simplicity is one thing, but this is more of a hybrid gone bad. You go from elaborate, very nicely done graphics to a bland grey background and white text.
You should also be able to recreate this site without the tables using cssp. I don't understand the name whatsoever. It sort of turns me off. Why would you want to associate sneezing with gourmet cooking? I don't want no sneezing chef catering my event. |

sneezie is a strange name for a catering company, i agree. shes had the company for years, and sneezie's her nickname. i think it just stuck!! mark |

Re: 17lemons.co.uk/simply/index.htm
Well, it's not bad. I agree about using XHTML and CSS, however. This site would be very simple to code.
First of all, there is no need for the splash page. It will confuse some people; indeed, if this site were not up for critique, I would've assumed that there was no content on the site. In the spirit of simplicity, I also recommend that you remove those bars in the content pages. I just flat out don't like them. Have you thought of using different images on the pages? It would look nice to see some variations, especially because this is a simple site. |

Re: 17lemons.co.uk/simply/index.htm
The way you have to click on one of those images to enter the site is just annoying! This is for a number of reasons.
