Hi There,

I am looking into a laptop which on switching on comes up with an error saying operating system not found.

The problem I think is it is some how not reccognizing the hard disk. So I tried to enter into the setup to check it out if it is enabled or not but the setup has a password which I don't know.

Does anybody know if there is a way of getting round to it?

Any help/suggestions much appreciated. Some where it says have to take off the battery and leave for 10 minutes so that it sets the password but not sure if it is a solution.
