Another strange IE problem...

http://www.minutedesigns.com/cust

Strange problem with the big link boxes in the main content area... In FF you can float over anywhere in the box to activate the link but in IE you have to roll over the text...

Anyone know a fix?

Yeah, I like the website in firefox, I would recommend you change the buttons, they are just kinda of basic, you know text. Other than that I like it, nice effect with the images, if only it worked in IE...lol

Re: Another strange IE problem...

They do work in IE but you have to roll over the text... which is ghey...

And as far as the tabs go... I am gonna make them look a bit smoother with rounded corners etc...

Re: Another strange IE problem...

Yeah I got you, I did not look too hard. I see what you are saying. Maybe you could specify the picture link coordinates...here is an example, keep in mind I did not look at your code yet, I am just lazy...

Code: Select all
<map name="nonflash">
<area shape="rect" coords="58,220,294,241" href="http://www.google.com/" target="_blank" />
</map>

Re: Another strange IE problem...

I don't want to declare any images in my HTML though... Check the code out. Clean as you like!

As for a solutions, I am sure you code specify the picture coordinates within your CSS, but I have no ideal what code you would use. I will look around, maybe I can find something...lol

Re: Another strange IE problem...

I code like this:

Code: Select all
generator = "Microsoft Frontpage"
<bloat><blink><a href=""><table><th><tr><td><font>Hahahaha</font></td><tr></th></table></a></blink></bloat>
As per your problem. Have you declared a width, height and display:block; to the link via your css?
